This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, tailored therapy planning, and implementation focused on enhancing pediatric patients' motor and sensory skills. The therapist will closely monitor patient progress while educating families and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure holistic care. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments to evaluate developmental and functional needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting motor skills and sensory integration Provide in-home treatment sessions addressing patient goals and needs Monitor and document patient progress regularly Educate families on therapeutic techniques and care strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate care efforts Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes Utilize assistive technology to support therapy goals Requirements Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California (active & in good standing) Degree from an accredited OT program Valid driver's license , reliable vehicle, and clean driving record Clean background check Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain) Current Negative TB test upon hire, Annual TB testing is required throughout employment Ability to work independently in home-based settings Strong communication and documentation skills Experience in pediatrics or early intervention preferred (not required)
Pay:
$71,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
