Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, providing essential occupational therapy services in a dynamic, school-based setting near Riverside, CA. This full-time role (40 hours per week) will have you traveling between sites, making a meaningful impact on the diverse needs of students across multiple campuses. In this role, you'll collaborate with a supportive team of educators and clinicians to help students thrive both academically and personally. Your expertise will contribute to fostering independence, participation, and well-being for children with varying abilities.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California Experience with school-based occupational therapy required Previous background in home health or healthcare OT a plus Adaptable to an itinerant schedule, traveling between multiple school sites Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct student assessments to determine occupational therapy needs Develop and execute individualized education program (IEP) goals Deliver direct therapy services in a variety of educational settings Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for optimal care Maintain accurate records and progress reports for case management Consult with interdisciplinary teams to promote student success
