Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Travel An excellent opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist with strong hospital-based therapy experience. This contract position offers the chance to provide expert care while collaborating within a leading healthcare environment.
Schedule:
8-hour day shifts 1 to 2 weekends per month
Qualifications:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license required Previous hospital-based OT experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of therapy protocols, patient assessment, and interdisciplinary care planning Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both patients and medical teams Ability to organize, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced hospital setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform detailed patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to support patient rehabilitation and functional gains Document patient progress, ongoing assessments, and care updates accurately in patient medical records Communicate regularly with physicians, therapy team members, and nursing staff to promote optimal patient outcomes Educate patients and families regarding strategies for improving independence and daily living skills Adhere to regulatory requirements, infection control, and facility standards at all times Benefits of this
