At Club Xcite , we're looking for a creative and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our student support team. In this role, you'll help students build confidence, independence, and essential life skills through hands-on, school-based therapy. Occupational Therapist (OT): Part time- 24 hours/week Contract for the entire 26/27 school year- 36 weeks.
School Setting Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferred. California Occupational Therapy license (OTR/L) Fingerprint/TB clearance Ability to uphold board policies and follow administrative procedures Must have experience in identifying students with exceptional needs At least 1 year of successful therapy experience in educational setting. BLS/CPR Cert.
Pay :
Up to $80 per hour Occupational Therapist (OT)
Duties:
Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care. Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals. Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed. Document all patient care in accordance with department policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
