Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a significant impact by providing essential occupational therapy services to students aged 3-22 with a variety of mild to severe multiple disabilities. This full-time, full school year contract position offers autonomy and flexibility while serving a diverse student population across several campuses near San Bernardino, CA. As an itinerant OT, you'll play a crucial role in improving educational outcomes for students by traveling to multiple sites each week and tailoring your schedule to meet the needs of the district.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Hands-on experience working with students with multiple disabilities (ages 3-22) Proficient in administering the BOT 3 and Peabody assessments Strong data-driven approach to developing individualized recommendations and addressing parent concerns Comfortable with fluctuating caseload sizes and shifting assessment needs Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Reliable transportation to travel between multiple sites (mileage reimbursement not available) Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments using standardized tools (including BOT 3 and Peabody) Consult with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement therapy strategies Adapt and modify interventions based on data and evolving caseload needs Provide clear, evidence-based documentation and recommendations for services to address student and family concerns Flexibly create and manage your weekly itinerary according to current site and district requirements This contract position is ideally suited for resourceful and self-motivated professionals who excel in dynamic, student-centered environments.
