Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by bringing your occupational therapy expertise to a school-based, contract opportunity just outside San Francisco, CA. This short-term position offers the chance to support students during their Extended School Year (ESY) session, running from mid-June to mid-July. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
California Occupational Therapist (OT) license (required) Prior experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings Comfort adapting therapy strategies for diverse student populations, including those with IEPs Strong communication and collaboration skills for working closely with educators, families, and special education teams Ability to conduct evaluations, write reports, and document student progress effectively
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary and/or secondary students as outlined in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments to develop and implement intervention plans tailored to each student's needs Provide consultative and collaborative support to teaching staff to optimize classroom participation Maintain timely documentation and participate in ESY team meetings Empower students to develop fine motor, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills that foster greater independence
