Santa Barbara, CA Company Description(s): We are a multi-disciplinary hybrid Early Intervention/Early Start (Birth-3) therapy agency that provides therapy services (SLP, OT, PT, and Child Development) to our young clientele in a natural environment/home-based therapy model. Both English and Spanish clientele are provided services in both a consultative and direct therapy model on a weekly and bi-monthly basis and as authorized by our local Regional Center.Job Description:
Provide evaluations, reports, goals, direct therapy and consultation services to both Early Start children and their families Implement and collaborate with trans-disciplinary team services to children with a variety of developmental and diagnostic indicators (Autism, Down Syndrome, etc) Attend and report at multi-disciplinary team meetings on a bi-annual and annual basis as requested and indicated by the Early Start program Provide consultation services to parents/caregivers, teachers, and to community specialists and professionals regarding client progress and recommendationsMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Must possess current California license for Occupational Therapy Experience with diverse developmental delays and disorders in infants and toddlers Ability to drive to all home-based therapy appointments in the assigned area & provide proof of a valid California driver's license and auto insurance Ability to conduct developmental evaluations in all domains (ex. gross motor, fine motor, social-emotional, communication and adaptive skills) as part of an interdisciplinary team Spanish skills are an asset, but not required. Strong report writing skills for multi-disciplinary reports Excellent organizational skills Ability to provide tele-practice coaching Demonstrate solid professional communication and the ability to work with a variety of therapists, specialists, families and community professionals (Regional Center, social workers, psychologists, physicians) Must possess proof of liability insurance Must possess proof of a valid California driver's license Willing to relocate to area Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary commensurate on professional experience Mentorship and training available Flexible hours and schedule Phone costs covered through the agency's phone carrier, T-Mobile, if working at least 20/hours per week Some CEU's are covered by the agencyJob Type:
