1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a fast-paced, high-complexity hospital serving critical care, trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology, and more across two campuses in Santa Barbara, CA. Details Acute care hospital setting spanning two campuses located approximately 10 minutes apart OT services provided across critical care, trauma (Level 1), neurology (stroke center of excellence), orthopedics, oncology, pulmonary/renal, and cardiac units Patient population: adults through geriatrics High-complexity patient cases with a supportive team environment Day shift: 5x8, 7:00-15:30 Minimum two weekend shifts per month required
EMR:
Epic Requirements Active OT license (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience Acute care hospital experience required Community hospital experience required Epic EMR experience required Current BLS certification required COVID vaccination required Experience with ADL domains including acute/chronic disorder management, adaptive equipment, functional activities, standardized assessments, and pre-discharge planning Orthopedic experience including hip/knee fractures, total joint replacements, and soft tissue injuries Adult neurological and rehabilitation experience including CVA, TBI, spinal cord injury, coma management, dementia/Alzheimer's, MS, Parkinson's, nerve injury, amputee care, and tendon/reattachment cases Teaching hospital experience preferred Trauma Level 1 experience preferred Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply
