Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A school-based occupational therapist position is available for the 2026-2027 academic year in Santa Clara, CA. This part-time contract role involves providing specialized support to students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. The role requires a commitment of approximately 8 hours per week, spread over 2 days, with typical hours from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to TK-5th grade students to support their educational and developmental needs. Evaluate students to identify therapeutic goals and create individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to implement effective interventions. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings. Ability to engage and support children between TK and 5th grade. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions. Commitment to working 8 hours per week, typically in two half-day sessions.
Location:
Santa Clara, California. This position offers a contract arrangement with hourly compensation ranging from $55 to $70.
