Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a full-time Occupational Therapist, supporting students across a vibrant district near Santa Clarita, CA. This onsite-only contract role runs from August 11, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' lives during the school year. Your experience in providing occupational therapy within educational environments will be crucial. You'll manage a minimum caseload of 40 students and deliver services across several school campuses, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to address diverse student needs and foster greater independence and participation in academics and daily school activities.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting strongly preferred Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a multi-site caseload Commitment to working 37.5 hours per week in a fully onsite capacity
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services for a diverse student population Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure comprehensive, individualized care Travel between multiple school sites as needed while efficiently managing your schedule This contract position provides the satisfaction that comes from making a direct difference and developing meaningful relationships within the school community.
