Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A part-time Occupational Therapist position is available to provide specialized support for students in grades TK through 5th. This contract role involves delivering occupational therapy services designed to enhance students' academic and functional performance within a school setting in Santa Cruz, CA. Responsibilities include assessing student needs, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and implementing therapeutic activities to promote fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall classroom participation. The therapist will work approximately 8 hours per week, typically spread over two days from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, during the 2026-2027 school year.
Key qualifications and experience desired:
Valid Occupational Therapist license and relevant certifications Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably TK-5th grade Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and documentation skills
