Compensati on:
Rates are PER VISIT, not per hour. Rates are range to be $45-$130 depending on visit type. Rates are determined by experience. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate an ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, geriatrics, and children. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance the quality of life for our patients. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focusing on improving activities of daily living (ADLs). Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective discharge planning and continuity of care. Provide therapy services in various settings including acute care, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, and home health environments. Work closely with patients with autism, disabilities, and those requiring early intervention services. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and modify care plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on treatment goals and strategies for ongoing support. Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and case management in daily practice. Engage in community outreach programs to promote occupational health awareness. Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active Drivers License, Proof of Car Insurance, BLS/CPR Knowledge in Kinnser and Google Chat Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Familiarity with acute care settings, ICU experience, skilled nursing facilities, post-acute care, and outpatient clinics is advantageous. Knowledge of speech therapy practices is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a commitment to enhancing quality of life through therapeutic interventions.
