Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This position offers a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work in a school setting, providing essential therapeutic support to students from TK through 5th grade. The role is part-time and contract-based, allowing for focused impact within a flexible schedule.

8 hours per week (2 days, approximately 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
Student Grades Served:
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th
Grade School Year:
2026-2027
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students to enhance their functional abilities and support academic success Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement IEP goals Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and monitor progress Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively about student outcomes Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and support school-wide initiatives related to student wellness
Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials and experience working in school settings Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices, especially in early childhood and elementary populations Ability to engage and motivate young students aged TK-5th grade Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families Familiarity with special education regulations and individualized education program (IEP) processes Benefits include the chance to impact student growth in a supportive, educational environment with a manageable part-time schedule.
