For the 2026-2027 school year, this contract role offers a balanced schedule at .6 FTE, working 21-24 hours across 3 days per week—ideal for professionals seeking flexibility alongside meaningful work.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license in California Previous experience in school-based OT settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Ability to tailor interventions to diverse student needs across various age groups Comfortable working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to supporting student developmental and academic success
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Deliver direct and consultative OT services per students' IEP goals Collaborate with other educators, families, and support staff to foster student participation and progress Maintain accurate records and timely documentation as required by school and state guidelines Participate in eligibility determination and IEP meetings Educate staff and families on strategies to optimize students' school performance and independence Adapt interventions and modify classroom environments to support accessibility In this role, you'll shape students' growth while enjoying a fulfilling schedule that supports work-life harmony.
