Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding, full-time opportunity impacting the lives of students from PreK through 8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-based role offers an engaging schedule from August 4, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing services across multiple school sites in a vibrant educational environment. This position focuses on in-person occupational therapy, allowing you to directly support students' developmental and learning needs.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist license meeting state requirements Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy, including supporting students from PreK to middle school Knowledge and understanding of best practices in assessments, IEP development, and therapy implementation in educational settings Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and other support specialists Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed Comfortable providing therapy in-person (teletherapy services not currently accepted)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and consultations tailored to a diverse caseload ranging from early childhood to eighth grade Contribute as a valued member of multidisciplinary IEP teams, sharing expertise and developing comprehensive student plans Document student progress, session notes, and evaluation results in alignment with district expectations and timelines Adapt and modify classroom environments or routines to maximize each student's participation and independence Engage with families and school staff to promote carryover of therapy strategies into daily activities and learning This position offers a consistent 40-hour workweek and the unique chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across multiple educational sites.
