Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity and collaborate with a dedicated educational team as an Occupational Therapist supporting K-12 students for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract position offers the unique chance to utilize your expertise in both traditional and remote settings, making a difference in the lives of students across all grade levels.
Key Skills & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapy license for California Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, with confidence in K-12 caseloads Competence in multiple environments: in-person schools, home health, healthcare systems, and teletherapy Strong communication and organization skills to partner effectively with teachers and families Commitment to fostering student independence within educational and home program contexts
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver therapy services and interventions for students with diverse developmental and physical needs Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals Assess student performance, document progress, and adjust plans to maximize engagement and success Facilitate teletherapy sessions as needed, ensuring access to high-quality support for all students Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight to help optimize each student's learning experience Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state policies
