Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Empower students to reach their full potential this summer by providing occupational therapy services in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for licensed Occupational Therapists who thrive working with school-age children and are committed to making a positive difference during the Extended School Year (ESY) session.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience delivering therapy services in school settings (elementary preferred) Understanding of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education procedures Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to travel within the area
Your Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students following their IEP goals Assess, plan, and implement interventions to promote students' participation and independence in school activities Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records and document student progress Effectively manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing needs Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies
Position Details:
Extended School Year (ESY): June 8 - July 2
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM - 12:45 PM (22.5 hours per week) Multiple sites within the Concord, CA area This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative school environment, impact lives over the summer, and enhance your professional experience in pediatric therapy.
