Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state OT licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred Experience with developing and implementing IEPs and therapy plans Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy approaches to a diverse caseload and range of ages Commitment to continuing professional development and up-to-date best practices
Responsibilities:
Conduct OT assessments and screenings to identify students' needs Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input for team decisions Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their education plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff to support student success Maintain detailed documentation and progress notes for each student Offer consultative support and training to staff and families on OT-related strategies Enjoy the satisfaction of making a real difference in students' daily lives while working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
