Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to make an impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position involves serving multiple school sites near Ventura, CA, from August 11 to December 18, 2026—with a possible extension. You'll collaborate within a well-established, supportive team focused on enabling student growth and fostering adaptive skills across diverse school settings.
Key Qualifications:
Valid occupational therapy license and credentials for CA Experience providing OT services in a school environment (highly preferred) Flexibility in working across grade levels; preferences regarding age groups can be discussed during the interview process Familiarity with SIRAS is a plus, but candidates with strong pediatric/school-based OT skills are encouraged to apply Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Commitment to student-centered, inclusive therapeutic practice
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, intervention, and consultation services for students with varying needs across multiple sites Collaborate with special education teams, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive problem-solving culture Adapt approaches to meet the unique needs and developmental stages of each student population served This contract position offers a dynamic caseload, professional collaboration, and the flexibility to tailor your role according to your experience and preferences.
