Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact as a dedicated Occupational Therapist supporting a young student in an elementary school setting. This rewarding contract position near Victorville, CA, offers the opportunity to provide vital 1:1 therapy for a male student who will benefit greatly from your expertise. The role is part-time, requiring just 1-2 hours per week, and will consider both onsite and virtual (voco) delivery, ensuring flexibility for the right candidate.
What You'll Bring:
Valid Occupational Therapist licensure required for school-based practice Experience with elementary-aged students preferred Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Comfortable providing 1:1 support, both in-person and through teletherapy (voco) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Professional, reliable, and compassionate approach to student care
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver direct OT services tailored to the needs of an elementary grade male student Conduct assessments and create personalized goals to foster participation in classroom and school activities Work closely with the student, teachers, and parents to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Stay attuned to the student's needs, ensuring confidentiality and promoting a supportive environment
