Requirements:
Current, active Occupational Therapy state license. CPR and BLS certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (including AED).
Core Responsibilities:
Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and environmental status to identify functional limitations and establish measurable goals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based OT techniques to improve daily living, self-care, work, and community participation. Recommend, train in, and document use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices. Educate patients and families/caregivers on strategies to maximize independence and manage conditions. Monitor and document patient progress; revise plans as needed and communicate findings with the multidisciplinary care team.
