Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await in the Denver, CO area for Occupational Therapists looking for part-time contract roles in a supportive, welcoming environment. This unique position is with a smaller district that has consistently received positive feedback from past contractors, especially regarding the dedicated special education department. What you'll bring: Active Occupational Therapy license in Colorado (DORA) required by start date Experience in schools or pediatrics strongly preferred, but not mandatory Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work closely with educators, families, and students Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy services Flexibility and organization to manage a part-time caseload across the school week Key responsibilities: Deliver evidence-based OT services to students in accordance with their IEPs Assess, evaluate, and document students' needs and progress Collaborate with the special education team and participate in IEP meetings Support student success by recommending accommodations, strategies, and assistive devices Communicate effectively with teachers and families to promote generalization of skills Maintain confidential documentation and stay current with best practices Compensation for this role ranges from $42.00 - $55.00 per hour based on experience in the school setting.
