Occupational Therapist-PRN 2nd Home Skilled Care Services LLC Aurora, CO Job Details PRN $90 a day 17 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description The Occupational Therapist (OT) - PRN evaluates and provides occupational therapy services to clients in accordance with physician orders, individualized care plans, Colorado regulations, and company policies. The OT assists clients in improving functional abilities, independence, safety, and quality of life in home health, adult day care, assisted living, and community settings. PRN staff work on an as-needed basis and may provide coverage based on operational and client care needs. This is for the Aurora Area Essential Duties & Responsibilities Evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities Develop individualized treatment plans and goals Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications Educate clients, caregivers, and staff on treatment plans and safety techniques Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely Collaborate with physicians, nurses, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members Monitor and report changes in client condition Participate in required meetings, trainings, and competencies
Qualifications Required:
Current Colorado Occupational Therapist license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current CPR certification Ability to pass background check and drug screening Reliable transportation if travel required
Preferred:
Experience in home health, adult day care, assisted living, rehabilitation, or geriatrics Bilingual abilities preferred Skills & Abilities Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient-centered care approach Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong organizational and documentation skills Physical Requirements Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform repetitive movements throughout shift Ability to lift and move equipment as needed Schedule PRN / As Needed Flexible scheduling based on operational needs May include evenings, weekends, and holidays Work Environment May work in: Client homes Adult day care centers Assisted living facilities Rehabilitation settings Medical clinics Community settings Compliance Statement This position must comply with all Colorado state regulations, HIPAA requirements, OSHA standards, and company policies and procedures.
Required:
