The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinic, early intervention and home health. This role involves developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of patients across different pediatric age groups, and children requiring early intervention services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' ability to perform daily activities and enhance their quality of life. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including speech therapists and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, techniques, and strategies for managing conditions effectively. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical terminology standards. Stay updated on the latest developments in occupational therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities. Requirements A valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice. Proven experience in patient care within a school, clinic, or home health is preferred. Knowledge of physiology and medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices. Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
