School Occupational Therapist | Commerce City, Colorado BlazerJobs - 3.4 Commerce City, CO Job Details Contract $35.53 - $53.47 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference for students across multiple school sites. This role is set to begin August 5, 2026, and extend through May 27, 2027, offering consistency, meaningful connections, and the chance to transform lives through occupational therapy. You'll work onsite with a diverse K-12 population, collaborating closely with a supportive, in-house OT team. As an itinerant practitioner, your expertise will help students overcome barriers, reach educational milestones, and develop skills in various learning environments. Ideal candidates bring passion and positive energy to their work, thriving in dynamic settings while supporting student growth and educator collaboration.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and active Occupational Therapy license or certification in Colorado required Experience or strong interest in K-12 educational settings Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt and individualize therapy plans for a broad age range
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services onsite Conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and maintain accurate documentation Travel between assigned K-12 schools, supporting each site's unique student population Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student independence and participation Foster a positive, growth-oriented learning environment for every student Working onsite 37.5 hours per week, you'll help create brighter futures for students while benefiting from the support of a collaborative OT team and engaging school communities.
