Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, full-time opportunity for the 2026-2027 academic year and make a meaningful difference in students' lives as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This onsite position in the Denver area provides a chance to empower students across a range of age groups by supporting their development, independence, and participation in educational settings. The assignment is full-time, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours weekly, with campus specifics and caseload details to be determined prior to the start date.
Key Qualifications:
Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification Active Colorado Occupational Therapist (OT) License Experience providing occupational therapy in a school-based environment preferred Adaptability to work across multiple campus locations as needed Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students according to IEPs Conduct assessments to determine students' functional skills and therapy needs Develop, update, and document treatment plans and progress reports Collaborate with special education teams to support student learning and inclusion Guide teachers and parents on effective strategies to help students thrive Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing evaluations Maintain compliance with all school and district policies In this contract position, you'll have the opportunity to impact multiple campuses and a diverse student population, with flexibility as assignments are clarified before the semester begins.
