This contract position starts in the 2026/2027 school year and involves working onsite to replace the current vocational occupational therapist, supporting a diverse student caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students' educational and developmental needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized plans and interventions Utilize assessment data to monitor and document student progress Provide guidance and support to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) assisting with the caseload Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions related to student outcomes

Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based experience Familiarity with school protocols and student educational needs Ability to manage a caseload of 100+ students efficiently, with support from COTA Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration Experience replacing or filling roles onsite with flexibility and professionalism
