Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy to provide services within educational settings in the Denver area. This full-time, contract position, based in Longmont, CO, will support students across various schools within a local district, with assignments and caseloads to be determined in coordination with district staffing and direct hires.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services aligning with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for school-aged children. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement interventions supporting student success. Conduct assessments and document student progress according to district and state guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning and educational goals. Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, licenses, and certification requirements.
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification. Active Colorado Occupational Therapy (OT) license. Experience working within school settings preferred. Ability to complete background check and fingerprinting as required by the district. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Details:
Contract duration: August 6, 2026 - May 26, 2027.
Full-time schedule:
37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Caseload varies by school assignment; ages served include school-aged children. Onsite work required in Denver area schools. Interviewing currently for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers a chance to contribute directly to the educational and developmental success of students in a supportive school environment.
