Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Occupational Therapist - School-Based | Longmont, CO | Contract Position A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist in the Longmont, CO area, supporting school-aged children during the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Assignments will vary within the school district, serving students across multiple campuses. Specific campus assignments and caseload details will be provided closer to the start date.
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification Active Colorado Occupational Therapy License Experience working with school-age children preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with school staff and families
Location:
Based in Longmont, CO, with assignments throughout the Denver area Onsite work required; no remote options available
Responsibilities:
Provide evaluation, treatment, and consultation services for students requiring occupational therapy support Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district requirements Participate in team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning This position is ideal for licensed Occupational Therapists seeking experience in the educational setting with a focus on school-based therapy. Current credentialing requirements are standard; no additional time-sensitive certifications are needed.
