Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, small school environment. This position is onsite and based in a private school setting with a close-knit student community. Immediate start is preferred, with a commitment extending through the end of the school year and confirmed for summer session, with potential for renewal.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required Experience in school-based settings preferred Skill in providing occupational therapy services in educational environments (elementary, middle, or high school) Background working with diverse caseloads; pediatric or adolescent experience is a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and adapt to a small, team-oriented setting
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized plans Serve a caseload of approximately 8-9 students within a total school population of about 70 Assess and evaluate student needs to develop appropriate goals and treatment plans Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student success Maintain accurate records and progress notes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach
