Full Time & PRN Position Summary Coastal Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary pediatric therapy team. This on-site position is ideal for a clinician who values collaboration, innovation, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in children's lives. There are Full-Time & PRN opportunities available. As a Coastal OT, you will provide services across early intervention, school-based, and outpatient programs—supporting children in developing the sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skills needed for meaningful participation in daily life. Key Responsibilities Clinical Practice Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver direct occupational therapy services in home, school, and clinic settings. Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and play skills. Collaborate with caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies across environments. Documentation & Compliance Complete documentation and session notes within Coastal Healthcare's established timelines. Maintain compliance with D.C. licensure requirements, Medicaid standards, and all applicable program regulations. Participate in ongoing quality assurance and data tracking efforts to support program integrity and outcomes. Collaboration & Professional Growth Engage in team meetings, professional learning sessions, and case consultations. Contribute to a supportive, inclusive work culture grounded in service and excellence. Participate in the mentorship of students or new staff when applicable. Qualifications Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active D.C. Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure prior to hire) Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills Experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities Preferred Experience Background in Early Intervention, school-based, or pediatric outpatient settings Familiarity with sensory integration, feeding therapy, or assistive technology Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive full-time salary 60% employer-paid health insurance coverage Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays) Continuing education and mentorship support Opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative, mission-driven organization
