1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute rehabilitation assignment in Washington, DC, requiring an active DC OT license. Details Position is located in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit Day shift, Monday through Friday schedule 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts Requirements Active DC OT license required (no pending licenses); license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of OT experience in a U.S. hospital setting required Bachelor's degree from an AOTA-accredited program required; Master's degree highly desired Current BLS certification required (AHA-issued only) CPI certification required Active

required Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services including evaluation, program planning, and treatment administration as part of an interdisciplinary team Perform detailed clinical assessments based on individual patient needs upon physician referral and develop age-appropriate plans of care Accurately document all patient treatment and respond effectively to evolving work assignments Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential in this role
