Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to support an elementary and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) caseload. This contract position is based in a school setting in New Castle, DE, running from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The ideal candidate will hold an active Occupational Therapist license in Delaware and have experience providing therapeutic services to children in educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to elementary students, including those with ASD Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans Conduct assessments and monitor student progress throughout the school year Provide interventions aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities Maintain documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirementsQualifications:
Current OT license for the state of Delaware is required Experience working with elementary-age students, particularly within an ASD caseload Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and communication skills Familiarity with school-based therapy protocols and documentation standardsLocation:
