Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role as a school-based Occupational Therapist, providing vital support to students throughout the academic year. This fully onsite position offers the chance to work with elementary and pediatric caseloads, helping students thrive in their educational environment. The contract runs from August 24, 2026, through June 14, 2027, with multiple openings available for dedicated professionals.
Qualifications:
Current, valid Delaware Occupational Therapy license (required) Demonstrated school-based OT experience (required) History of working with pediatric/elementary caseloads preferred Able to commit to a full-time, onsite schedule (37.5 hours per week) Reliable transportation to and from the school sitesKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and participate in IEP meetings Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Document student progress, maintain records, and communicate updates to families and staff Assist in creating modifications or accommodations to support student learning and participation in school activitiesBenefits and Perks:
