Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis within a school-based setting. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students' developmental and functional needs by providing tailored therapy services that promote independence and participation in educational activities. Your expertise will help children overcome challenges related to disabilities, autism, or other health conditions, enabling them to thrive academically and socially. 9th-12th and supporting 18-22 year olds
Salary:
$60,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)
Duration:
August 17, 2026 - June 15, 2027 Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities to develop personalized care plans. Deliver targeted therapy interventions to improve fine motor skills, coordination, sensory integration, and daily living activities (ADLs). Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure consistency across settings. Assist students with discharge planning by monitoring progress and adjusting therapy goals as needed for optimal outcomes. Support early intervention programs by identifying developmental delays and implementing appropriate therapeutic strategies. Work with individuals with autism and other disabilities to enhance communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors. Document therapy sessions accurately, track progress, and maintain detailed records of patient care in compliance with regulatory standards. Skills Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities, and those in acute or post-acute care settings. Proficient in discharge planning, case management, and developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs. Ability to work effectively within school environments and collaborate with educational staff for student success. Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly using medical terminology understandable by families and team members. Why AnthroMed?
