Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your passion for making a difference into your next rewarding opportunity as a contract Occupational Therapist serving school-aged children near Seaford, DE. You'll play a vital role in fostering growth, independence, and confidence in students by designing impactful therapy plans and collaborating closely with educators and families.
What We're Seeking:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active and valid Occupational Therapy license for the state Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is strongly preferred Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to provide tailored therapy interventions supporting student participation in all school activities
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success Provide direct therapy and consultative services, both one-on-one and within group settings Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed Participate in meetings and support IEP development Maintain up-to-date and thorough records in compliance with regulations Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and inclusive school environment
