Job Description

COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Hands With Care is a private, therapist-owned, client-centered, outpatient Occupational and Physical Therapy facility, staffed with skilled licensed professionals dedicated to providing the finest, quality therapy and rehabilitation with a personal touch. Our staff members include Certified Hand Therapists, and team of Occupational Therapists who have advanced training and clinical experience in the evaluation and treatment of injuries and conditions related to both the upper and lower extremities. Hands With Care one-to-one outpatient services include: Orthopedic upper and lower extremity pre/post-surgery rehab, and conservative treatment of common conditions, including, carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, arthritic conditions, and custom orthosis fabrication. Other areas of specialty rehabilitation include: sports injuries, neurological disorders, and activities of daily living skills training.
JOB DESCRIPTON/RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate and implement intervention programs for clients with disabilities, injuries, and diseases as related to functional impairments. Assist clients to develop and/or regain occupational, physical and/or mental functioning by implementing programs involving activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) to help clients "get back to doing what they love to do!" Use of a variety of therapeutic, and evidence-based practice techniques to promote functional independence and improve the quality of life for the client. Evaluate results of occupational therapy by observing, documenting, and evaluating client's progress, with recommendations of program implementation, adjustments, and modifications. Maintain a safe, and properly sanitized working environment with compliance of clinic procedures, rules, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in hand to shoulder outpatient therapy preferred
COMPENSATION COMMENSURATE WITH LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

$35.00 - $50.00 per hour
