$50•$58/hour About the Role Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy services while supporting residents in achieving their highest level of independence and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate occupational therapy programs and services Collaborate with administration, medical staff, nursing, and interdisciplinary teams Conduct resident evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct occupational therapy treatments in therapy areas and resident rooms Participate in care planning, MDS assessments, and discharge planning Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and billing records Ensure adherence to facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards Assist with quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement plans Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and procedures Promote resident safety, infection control, and use of universal precautions Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a clean, safe treatment environment Communicate effectively with physicians regarding plans of care and progress Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current, active, and unencumbered Florida Occupational Therapist license Experience as an Occupational Therapist in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar healthcare setting Training in rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred Benefits Comprehensive Medical & Dental Insurance Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Recognition Program Supportive, team-oriented work environment Company perks and employee discounts If you are passionate about helping residents regain independence and thrive, we invite you to apply and become part of our compassionate and supportive team.
