Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists for a full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year with school districts in the Cape Coral, Florida area. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative educational setting while supporting students in achieving their communication and academic goals. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered, including: Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Florida Department of Health Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred or eligibility to obtain Florida Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Impairment (or eligibility to obtain) Compliance with all state and district background screening and fingerprinting requirements School-based experience preferred Typical responsibilities for this role include: Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments Developing and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintaining accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student-centered planning Blazer Jobs offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: Weekly direct deposit Competitive premium pay rates Health care benefit options 401(k) eligibility Professional development opportunities And more Renewal opportunities for the following school year are based on performance.
