Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist ready to make a lasting impact in a school setting? Here's an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment near Clermont, FL, with a contract position starting in August. While final school assignments and caseload specifics will be determined following district budget confirmation on June 8th or 9th, there's a strong likelihood you'll be invited for interviews as soon as next week.
Key Qualifications:
Valid professional Occupational Therapy license Experience delivering OT services in schools strongly preferred, but not required for consideration Ability to complete timely district-specific onboarding, including data forms, agreements, and badge processes Flexibility to support a to-be-determined caseload and grade range Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Able to work full-time, on-site (37.5 hours/week)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students, supporting IEP goals and student independence Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to create supportive learning environments Assess student needs and perform ongoing evaluations Document services, maintain records, and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines Travel between assigned campuses if needed; school locations and specific age groups will be detailed after budget approval
