Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' growth and well-being throughout the 2026-27 school year. Use your occupational therapy expertise to make a lasting impact in a district-wide position, with efforts made to keep your assigned schools conveniently grouped. This full-time opportunity offers 8-hour days, starting the first week of August and continuing through the end of May. Bring your commitment to excellence in school-based practice, and help shape students' futures while enjoying the benefits of collaboration and professional growth. You'll also mentor a dedicated COTA, guiding them as you deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across school sites.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license required Experience in schools, home health, and/or healthcare OT settings preferred Strong understanding of school-based therapy needs and IEP process Previous supervisory or mentorship experience with COTAs valued Effective communicator with staff, students, and families Comfortable traveling between assigned locations
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group OT services to students across multiple campuses Develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Supervise and support a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Participate in IEP meetings, goal development, and progress reporting Document interventions, evaluations, and outcomes in a timely manner Adapt services and interventions to best meet students' unique goals Imagine yourself making a positive difference every day, backed by a supportive network of professionals, as you help bridge the gap for students striving to achieve their fullest potential.
