Occupational TherapistAbout the Role A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a newly developed, state-of-the-art acute care facility opening in 2026. This modern hospital will feature approximately 90 inpatient beds, comprehensive emergency services, advanced surgical capabilities, and a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation unit. This opportunity offers the chance to be part of a growing, nationally recognised healthcare network focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Working Hours Day shifts with rotating weekends Typical hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Shift patterns may vary depending on service needs Key Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting patients to regain independence and improve their quality of life following illness, injury, or surgery.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing patients' functional abilities and developing individualised treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the wider care team Delivering evidence-based interventions that promote independence, recovery, and daily living skills Monitoring progress and adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation Educating patients and families to support ongoing recovery and confidence post-discharge Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, patient-focused care Providing guidance and mentorship to therapy assistants or students as appropriate Qualifications & Requirements Licensed Occupational Therapist (state licensure required) Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment All levels of experience considered, including new graduates (1+ year preferred but not essential) About the Facility New-build acute care hospital opening in 2026 Approximately 90 beds Full-service emergency department Advanced surgical services, including minimally invasive and robotic procedures Dedicated inpatient rehabilitation unit (~30 beds) Compensation Competitive salary, commensurate with experience Sign-on bonus: Offered on a case-by-case basis Relocation support: Available on a case-by-case basis Benefits Package Employees benefit from a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support health, wellbeing, and long-term career development, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Prescription and mental health support Telehealth services Life and disability coverage Retirement plan with employer contributions Employee stock purchase options Paid time off and family leave Tuition assistance and student loan support Career development and certification funding Wellbeing resources (emotional, physical, financial) Employee discounts and lifestyle perks Additional optional benefits such as pet insurance, legal support, identity protection, and more Why Join?
