This modern facility will offer comprehensive emergency services, advanced surgical care, and a 30-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit designed to support patients through recovery and functional restoration. This role is focused on helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life through individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy. The Occupational Therapist evaluates functional abilities, develops personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, and delivers targeted interventions that support recovery goals. Responsibilities include monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment approaches as needed, and maintaining clear, timely documentation to support continuity and quality of care. The role also involves patient and family education to encourage engagement in the rehabilitation process and improve long-term outcomes. Collaboration with therapy assistants, students, and other clinical team members is an important part of daily practice, ensuring coordinated and safe transitions of care.
Qualifications:
Vocational school graduate required Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist required Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred; new graduates will be considered Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Schedule:
Full-time Day shift Rotating weekends Typically 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with staggered scheduling based on facility needs
