Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing Occupational Therapy services in an engaging educational environment on a contract basis. This rewarding opportunity near Hastings, FL focuses on delivering high-quality therapy support to students during the 2026-2027 school year. Collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential academically, socially, and physically.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT licensure in Florida (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered therapy
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' strengths and needs using standardized and functional assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals Deliver direct and consultative OT services in classroom and one-on-one settings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student access to the curriculum Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, evaluations, and progress reports Educate school staff and families about accommodations, assistive devices, and strategies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making This contract opportunity offers the satisfaction of supporting students' growth in a collaborative, energetic atmosphere.
