Compensation starting at $40/hr for FT and $50/hr for PRN, increases based on years of experience. Position Overview As an Occupational Therapist , you will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve functional performance and daily living skills. You will collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal resident outcomes. Why Join Bear Creek Nursing Center?

Tuition Reimbursement Program 401k with MATCH Health Savings Account (HSA) Employee Referral Bonus Program Employer Paid Basic Life & AD&D Insurance 15 PTO days within the first year Key Responsibilities Evaluate residents to identify functional limitations and therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on ADLs and IADLs Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications to promote safety and independence Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility and regulatory requirements Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration Ensure compliance with all facility, state, and federal guidelines Qualifications Active Florida Occupational Therapist license In good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies SNF or long-term care experience preferred Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
