Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our residents to achieve their maximum potential and independence.

Your duties will include:

Assessing and treating residents with various physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address residents' needs and goals Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and communication Providing education and support to residents, families, and caregivers

Responsibilities:

Conduct Occupational Therapy evaluations and assessments to identify resident needs and goals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs and goals Provide occupational therapy interventions, including modalities, exercises, and activities, to improve resident function and independence Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and communication Document resident progress and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida 6 months of experience in occupational therapy preferred
