Job Description

ZODU Health (in partnership with ZODU Therapy) is hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide occupational therapy services to children in a clinic-based and/or community-based setting. This role is ideal for a pediatric OT who combines excellent clinical judgment with warm, family-centered care and strong documentation habits. This position is not for a COTA. Key Responsibilities Perform pediatric OT evaluations and re-evaluations (developmental, sensory-motor, fine motor, visual-motor, self-care/ADLs, feeding as applicable). Develop individualized plans of care based on child/family goals and evidence-based interventions. Provide skilled OT treatment to improve functional participation at home, school, and community. Implement interventions targeting sensory processing/self-regulation, motor planning, handwriting/pre-writing, bilateral coordination, strength, postural control, and adaptive skills. Educate parents/caregivers with practical home programs and carryover strategies. Maintain timely, accurate documentation (evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries) per payer and organizational standards. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary providers to support continuity and outcomes. Participate in case consultation, clinical standards, and quality improvement initiatives. (Preferred) Provide clinical leadership support (mentoring, training, documentation quality oversight) as the program grows. Required Qualifications Active Florida OT license (Occupational Therapist; OTR). Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Pediatric experience preferred; strong generalist OT experience with readiness to work with children will be considered. Strong documentation skills and comfort using EMR/EHR systems. Demonstrated strengths in patient/family rapport, attention to detail, flexibility, and professional communication. Ability to problem-solve clinically and manage a dynamic pediatric caseload. Preferred Experience (Strong Plus) Pediatric outpatient experience (sensory integration, fine motor, handwriting, school participation). Experience across settings (school-based, outpatient clinic, hospital/inpatient, day programs, home health). Leadership/clinical supervision background (chart review, mentoring, quality support).
