Acute Care Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs, mobility, and safety. Provide therapeutic interventions including neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive equipment training. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and case managers. Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve independence and safety at home. Participate in discharge planning and recommend appropriate follow-up services.
Requirements:
BLS (Basic Life Support) OT (Occupational Therapy) Or OT (Occupational Therapy) Eligible to obtain Required Bachelor's Occupational Therapy Preferred 1-year
