Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a school-based contract opportunity near Palatka, FL. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid OT licensure for practice in Florida Experience delivering OT services in a school setting strongly preferred Understanding of IEPs, goal development, and documentation requirements Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for occupational therapy Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with IEP teams Provide direct and consultative OT services in accordance with student goals Document student progress and complete all necessary reports and records Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create optimal learning environments Deliver staff training or recommendations for classroom accommodations as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions Immerse yourself in a supportive and dynamic environment where your clinical skills will help shape student success.
