Overview:
The Lead OT provides high quality pediatric occupational therapy services while supporting department growth, mentorship, and clinical leadership. This role blends direct patient care with leadership responsibilities and collaboration with the Clinical Director. Key Responsibilities Clinical Services Complete occupational therapy evaluations and develop plans of care Provide evidence based treatment for pediatric clients Support new ABA center partnerships by initiating OT services and completing evaluations Maintain accurate and timely documentation Leadership and Department Oversight Mentor and support OTs and supervise COTAs and/or students Lead OT department meetings Assist with onboarding and training of new OT staff Problem solve clinical concerns with clients and team members Collaborate closely with the Clinical Director to support department needs Administrative Support Light HR related meetings and staff support Occasional scheduling assistance for assigned centers Administrative staff will support you in any administrative work that is unskilled (making copies, materials, sending parent emails for evaluations, etc.) Competitive Benefits Medical insurance (50% employer paid), dental, life insurance, and workers' compensation PTO accrual beginning on day one with increased accrual based on tenure 12 paid holidays annually 401(k) with up to 6% employer match after one year CEU and license stipend up to $500 annually Annual performance reviews and career development support Bereavement pay Employee child therapy reimbursement program Consistent schedule and administrative support Ongoing mentorship, training, and growth opportunities Leadership advancement opportunities within a growing company Productivity Expectations Lighter Productivity goals due to more admin time needed for leadership: Goal of at least 22 direct treatment hours per week, including evaluations Schedule 4 days per week from 8:30 to 5:30 or 9:00 to 6:00 1 shortened day from 8:30 to 3:00 or 9:00 to 3:30 No weekend hours Qualifications Florida licensed Occupational Therapist Experience in pediatric practice preferred Strong leadership, organization, and mentorship skills or passion and willingness to learn This position is ideal for an OT who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and expanding high quality services within the community.
